Dark Skies

The Massacre Rim Dark Sky Sanctuary, one of only ten dark sky sanctuaries in the world, with four of them in the U.S. At more than 100,000 acres, Massacre Rim is the largest one in the country. It is surrounded by thousands of acres of sagebrush and grass, making it perfect for cattle and for camping. The Sanctuary is just 30 miles to the east in Northern Nevada.
